To change the palette click on “<” button in the swatch panel as shown below:. And then click on any color in palette to fill that rectangle with selected color. Create a rectangle by clicking on the rectangle tool. Now any color from the palette can selected whenever needed. This will open the color palettes panel on the right hand side as shown here:. Click on view menu and then click on swatches as shown here:. First create a new document with default or any other settings. Here are the steps to use and create color palettes:

Use Select Tool and select the text and 8 arrows appear around it and drag one to resize the text either it is shrinking or enlarging. For example, change a text font ( typeface) from Times New Roman to Liberation Serif.
Use Text Tool and click the text and block select it and select a font from Font Chooser on toolbar.
